How to get to Khadimnagar National Park

Sylhet by bus

Buses traveling from Dhaka to Sylhet are available from Gabtali and Syedabad Bus Terminals throughout the morning until 12.45 pm. In Sylhet, buses depart from Fakirapool, Syedabad, and Mohakhali bus stations in Dhaka. Various AC buses from companies such as Green Line Transport, Saudia S Alam Transport, Shyamli Transport, and Ena Transport operate on this route, with fares ranging from 800 to 1,100 taka. Additionally, non-AC buses from Shyamoli Paribahan, Hanif Enterprise, Unique Service, and Ena Paribahan also serve the Sylhet route, with fares between 400 to 450 taka. Ena Paribahan buses depart from Mohakhali and travel to Sylhet via Tongi Ghorashal.

Dhaka to Sylhet by train

The Parabat Express intercity train departs from Kamalapur railway station in Dhaka every day except Tuesday at 6:40 am. The Jayantika Express leaves at 02:00 pm daily, while the Upaban Express departs at 09:50 pm every day except Wednesday. The Kalani Express leaves at 4 pm daily except on Fridays. Fares range from 150 to 1,018 taka. It is recommended to take the Upaban Express at 9:50 pm if you want to arrive in the early morning and have a comfortable journey by sleeping on the train at night and waking up refreshed in the morning after 7-8 hours.

Chittagong to Sylhet by train

The Paharika Express leaves Chittagong at 8:15 a.m. every day except Monday, and the Udayan Express departs at 9:45 p.m. daily except Saturday. The fare ranges from 145 to 1191 taka. The ticket prices for different classes are as follows: AC berth 698 taka, AC seat 460 taka, first class berth 425 taka, first class seat 270 taka, comfortable 460 taka, decorative chair 180 taka, decorative 150 taka, and cheap 95 taka.

Sylhet by Air / Sylhet by Plane

Biman Bangladesh, United Air, Regent Air, Novo Air and US Bangla Air offer daily flights from Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka to Osmani Airport in Sylhet.

You can access Khadimnagar National Park from Sylhet by bus, microbus, CNG autorickshaw, or Laguna. It is located about 10 km down the Jaflong road from Sylhet city, and Khadim Choumuhna is just past the Shahparan shrine gate.

There are multiple resorts located near Tamabil/Jaintapur. If you are staying in this area, you will need to travel back from Hadarpar to Goainghat as you did before. From Goainghat, you will need to travel to Sari Ghat, where you can take a CNG or Laguna transport. The cost is 60 rupees per person.
