How to Reach Lalakhal – Renting a Car or Microbus

Lalakhal is located about 44 km from Sylhet city. Tourists can visit by car, microbus, Lagoonas and local bus. Car or Microbus rental from Sylhet to Lalakhal is 2500-3500 taka per day. The drive normally takes 60 to 90 minutes. CNG Auto-rickshaw (not recommended) costs about 1000-1500 taka.  One can find many forms of very affordable public transport to reach Lalakhal. From Subhanighat Point in Sylhet City or Osmani Shishu Park, the buses (45 taka) and Lagoonas (33 taka) will arrive at Sharighat in one and a half to two hours.
